Scan QR Code With Google Search Widget on Android Device

I am very much sure that most of you use “Google Goggles” app to search for QR codes. I was also using it before knowing that it is possible to search for QR codes using the built in widget in Google search.

To search QR code with the Google widget, you need to tap the microphone icon and then you need to select “Search with Camera” option which you will get lower right corner of the mobile screen.

Now if you select the “Search with Camera” option, you can take a picture of the QR code and you will be able to search with that QR code.

Now if you scroll the page you will be able to see the google search result text for that QR code.

This is available in Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). You can check the option in the above picture.
