Microsoft Windows 8 tablet is the new tablet which is going to be released by Microsoft.Microsoft thinks that the new Windows 8 tablet named as “Surface” will compete with the ipad and will survive in the long run.Later in this year Microsoft is planning to release the Windows 8 tablet and this is been predicted that we are going to get a variety of product from Microsoft from small tablet to fully convertible laptops.
Microsoft has already related the consumer review for its customer from where you can check how stunning the product will be.Hopefully Microsoft will release this product later in this year 2012 and they have already invested a lot to make this product successful.So, financially this is very crucial for Microsoft.
Microsoft will run on x-86 based AMD (Advance Micro Device) and intel machines additionally it will run on ARM (Advanced RISC Machine) which is common in iPad and other Android device.
Windows 8 versions:
Windows 8 will be having 3 versions as predicted.The one will be simple “Windows 8” with AMD device,another will be “Windows 8 Pro” which will also have AMD device and the other one will be named as Windows RT in which windows 8 will be per-installed.
NVDIA Tegra 3 chip has been confirmed for one of the test beds for the new Windows 8 ARM based device.Technical persons will hopefully understand the benefit.
Intel official claimed that the new Windows 8 will have 9 hours battery backup, 4G connectivity and NFC technology with it.The weight of the device will be around 680 gm(1.5 Pounds) and a sub-9mm Body.
Pricing of Windows 8 will not be more than 300$ dollars (US).But other officials think that the pricing is not going to be cheaper than the iPad at first.
Some Windows 8 will be made specially for the business people who want to use a tablet to read the newspaper or read magazine and also want to do some excel or Microsoft power point work.So, keeping them in mind one style will be released.
Windows 8 tablet is also having applications and applications store which will make it more user friendly and attractive.
Microsoft spokesman said that the Windows 8 will be having 10.1 inch tablet display with 291 pixel per inch resolution, which is better than iPad which is having 265 pixel per inch resolution.So, this is clear that HD experience will be very clear in Windows 8.
