As my blog is in WordPress platform when i got the update notification about the latest version 3.5,i updated my WordPress.But after updating i am facing problem to set the featured image in my post.
Though the “Add Media” surface and screen is better but if i insert more than one image in my post and then try to set the featured image, it does not show in my Gallery page, which is the home page of my blog.In the “Article Gallery” it shows the image which was inserted at the first time in the post.
In the previous version, if someone wanted to set the featured image and wanted to show the image in the Article Gallery page then he or she may need to set the priority of featured image as 1 and then needed to save it.
But here in this version of 3.5 there is also not that kind of option which will allow me to set the featured image position as 1 when i am using multiple image in a post.
I also searched in the web and no one is having with this answer in their blog or forum.So, i asked it in the WordPress support forum yesterday and found that other people are also having same problem.But still no response from anyone with the solution.Below is the image shows that i asked about the problem in WordPress support forum:

So, should i not consider this as a bug? I tried a lot of option to set the featured image in the “Article Gallery” and i am unable to do it.I think this is a bug in WordPress Version 3.5
If it is a bug then it should be set immediately.Because i am facing a lot of problem to set the appropriate image as featured image.
If anyone from anywhere knows the solution then he or she may let me know through comments.You can also help me answering in the topic.
same problem with my wordpress. I have all plugin desactivate and not fix the problem and all customs post type deleting and always the same problem

Hello abinashmohanty, From the support they are telling that there is some bug in my theme. I am not sure. Because i also know other people who are having the same problem . Still no solution. Will let you know if i get any update.Thanks
