The SocialWebCafe has an application form for if you want to make money directly with them. You fill the online form in and they get back to you. They say that you can promote a Twitter event and earn money out of it.

Contacting you:

They contact you in a process that they describe as being similar to a job interview. They say that it will open up a dialog on their terms so that they may discuss project details.

What’s in it for you?:

Primarily they claim that if you are chosen and you are given the “go ahead” then money is what is in it for you. They say that they pay between thirty to a hundred dollars per event. There is also the side effect that you get some content for your website. They also say that it is a fun, engaging and interactive.

What happens?:

When there is an event, you are given tasks that must be completed within two weeks. The better you complete the tasks then the more money you get. As a general rule you should complete all of the tasks in order to be paid, but your original dialogue should cover what you intend to do and how.

For example, you may have a great way of inviting one hundred people from Facebook but may not be able to do the same with Google+. In this case you would have to discuss it prior to taking the event/project on. That way you can ensure that you will be paid.

What are the tasks?:

You will need to discuss it prior to taking the job on, but you should expect to write a blog post. You will also need to come up with a blog post section that talks about the client (or paying party). This will need to be around two to three paragraphs. The SocialWebCafe is willing to give you some help in this department.

A giveaway code must be included in your blog post. It will be from Rafflecopter most likely. You will be given the promotional by SocialWebCafe prior to making the post. You will be expected to invite at least thirty people from Facebook to your SocialWebCafe Facebook-event. You will also be asked to share you post at least two times, although over which medium is not clear until you discuss the terms with SocialWebCafe.

In a similar fashion with Facebook, you will be expected to share your post twice in some form of Google+ medium, and invite thirty people to your Google+ event for SocialWebCafe. When it comes to Twitter you will be expected to attend the SocialWebCafe event.

This means Tweeting (Or scheduling tweets) for around that time period. You will be expected to Tweet seven or more times. This may include seven in two days, or seven spread across seven days at a certain time. They don’t mind if you use a Twitter scheduling app.

How much money do I get?:

If you do all of the discussed items then you should get at least thirty dollars. You get more if your social media and blog efforts have a larger/wider influence.

How do I apply and win:

You need to give them the address of you current blog so that they can have a look at it. They are looking for good blog posts and a high readership. This may include signals such as a lot of comments on your blog. You could also do a lot worse than to sell yourself a little in your application message.

You could tell them how popular your blog is and how many followers you have on the social medias. You could also mention a few techniques you are going to use to make sure that many people attend the event.
