Can you believe that or isn’t it bit shocking while reading that “Facebook abuses users name just for money!” I was also a bit shocked but as the news is from Mike Elgan, I just cannot ignore it. Today while reading the Google+ blogs of Mike Elgan, I was just astonished! In the article it is stated that a giant ad on Facebook says that Mike’s niece liked “AT&T” and watching this add Mike knocked his niece and found that his niece did not like the page of “AT&T”. Mike also was thinking the same because a 14 years old girl who is not even living in USA why will like “AT&T”.
He also asked question to Facebook whether it is really legal to use some minors name without his or her permission or his or her parents permission and lie that they are using that product (which actually they are not doing.) Below is the screen shot:
As a small blogger, I also want to request Facebook to stop this kind of fake advertisement just to earn a little bit of extra money. Facebook will loose its value to the normal people. As a Global brand, they also have some responsibility to do everything with honesty. Otherwise the time is nearby when a lot of Facebook likes are going to be treated as negative impact factor.
