App adviser (tech broker)

Now that cloud is in the middle of the takeover process of numerous online activities, more and more businesses are opting for all-inclusive cloud services. However, there is usually a pretty divergent approach when it comes to acquiring new business-related apps. So, it often happens that different sectors decide to purchase applications that will be benefit for their share of work, but they usually act at the spur of the moment. That can lead to higher expenses than the business managers planned. This is where an app adviser or a technology broker comes to the stage. This job includes gathering data and knowledge about different apps and deciding which ones would fit their business best, on the basis of their performances and costs. A tech broker is like a movie editor at a TV-station.

Cloud service Integrator

A close relative of the tech broker, a cloud service integrator (or specialist) has the role of merging and integrating separate systems inside one business or company, so that the work flow becomes faster, which then increases the work proficiency. This job requires a fine knowledge of back-end and networking features, so that those individual systems are joined together. Basically, a cloud service integrator is required to direct and control the merging process of cloud programs and apps that the tech broker has selected for different departments of the same business.

UI/UX

These two acronyms stand for user interface design and user experience, respectively. While the first designer is in charge of creating visually attractive and eye-candyish ambience in the web context, the latter one is the one who reviews the work of the former one. In addition, the user experience evaluation serves as the base for the estimation of the visual appeal of an online feature.  These two closely related features, i.e. different sides of the same medal are the essence of the whole Internet story today. From websites and blogs to cloud apps, UI/UX designers are pillars of the construction that the Internet has become. This job will continue growing in 2015, but also in years to come afterwards, as well.

With every New Year we all have a new set of high hopes. Since economy in general is struggling to survive all the financial dire straits and create more workplaces, the contribution of IT niche is expected to be even higher than before. But it is not enough to know how to code or build links anymore. IT jobs are becoming incredibly sophisticated and they include skills from psychology, marketing and other fields.
