Spread the love

For a long time, YouTube did not have any feature to show annotations on the videos for mobile users. As the smartphone users are increasing day by day and most of the websites are getting 50% of their visitors from the mobile device, this is really important for the YouTube video creators to have the opportunity of adding an extra layer to their videos in terms of annotation. Keeping that in mind, YouTube upgraded their features and they have added a new feature which is YouTube Card.

What is YouTube Card and How to Use YouTube Cards?

Those who create and upload videos in YouTube, they know about YouTube annotations. YouTube annotations are the texts when you play a YouTube video and those are floating on the video and this annotations also provide some features like adding link to an associated website ( if people click on that text, it redirects to their website or blog), people can also add links to other videos inside those annotations. Which is just amazing to expose other videos from the same channel or to expose websites. If people likes your video, they will click on the annotations to see and check your website too or they will click to see other videos of your channel. In this way, YouTube annotations help people to expose their videos or business. But this feature was not available to the mobile users. So, the video up loaders were deprived of the exposure form around 50% viewers of their video. But now YouTube added this feature to the mobile users also and they are calling this feature as YouTube Card.
