To increase blog traffic in the initial step is a very difficult task for a blogger.Every blogger want to get a lot of traffic to their blog.But this is not an easy task to get traffic initially for any blogger.Cause your blog will not have any high page rank and also the branding is not that much in the starting stage.So,you must need to adopt some technique to get some reasonable amount of traffic in your blog.Now the question comes what amount is the reasonable amount of traffic?If your blog struggles to get at least 150-200 unique page view per day then your post is not up to date and you need to adopt some technique.
Below i am going to tell you some technique through which i believe your post will get a reasonable amount of traffic.The techniques are below:
1. You need to post some killer post:
May be your are thinking that what is “killer post”.This is not an universal definition but in my words a killer post is a kind of post which itself will drive a lot of traffic to your blog.You need to be very choosy to select the post topic if you want to make a killer post.Your post must be a long post and describes all the things related to that topic and having a lot of outbound links through which people will be able to learn the things that is not described in the post.If you are running a blog which is related to photos then post a good amount of pictures in that post and make a huge collection on that topic in that post.
This is not necessary that you need to post this type of post everyday.You can post this kind of killer post once in a week and if you are running out of time then you can post only one post per 2 weeks.But make sure that your readers are reading the post and sharing the post cause your post contains some unique information which is not available in any other blog or is not a common topic.
2. Share Your Post To Stumble Upon: (StumbleUpon no longer exists, use Mix)
StumbleUpon is a great site to share your post and website.Because this is the gang of bloggers and everyone is ready to help everyone.So,from here you will get a large amount of traffic and if you browse others blog, others will also browse your blog and they will love to leave some comments on your blog.There readers are not spam traffic and they really mean when they tell something.They will bookmark your site and will come again and again to get some new things.There are lot of new bloggers over here so they understand your problem and try to pump up others blog so that their blog also get exposed.
3. Submit your article to social bookmarking site:
There is no exception of this.You must need to do this.You need to submit your article or blog to some social bookmarking site which will brand your blog and people will be able to know about your blog.Who are related to blogging they regularly browse those social bookmarking site and you will get a lot of traffic from those sites.Among those sites some are must and those are Technorati, EzineArticles, HubPages etc.These article submission will provide you exposure and as well as backlinks.
You can try another two paid article submission site which will also give you strong backlink and those are ExpertsColumn and Triond.
4. Share Your Site To Social Networking site:
This is the magic point and it will work just like magic.After posting article just share it to your Facebook profile or wall, Tweet this article to Twitter and make a lot of friends over there.Your friends will see and read your post and if they like it they will also share those posts .In this way your post will gain a lot of traffic and those are actual readers.
5. Create a Facebook Fan Page:
This is the last but not the least.This very helpful for branding your blog.Create a Facebook fan page with the name of your blog and share each and every post in that Page.Earn a lot of like from your friends.In this way when they will like your page, they will be notified when any post you make.Also try to upload some interesting pictures in your page so that people always visit your page and in this way they will also read your post and you will get traffic.
